SAVE’s Buildings at Risk officer Liz Fuller was interviewed by Sky News in Manchester about the buildings we added to the BaR register in the wake of Boom Not Bust, our report on the region’s heritage. The three-minute piece came hot on the heels of similar interest from BBC TV.

Manchester’s rapid growth spurt was also the focus of a feature in the Financial Times by the former director of the Design Museum Deyan Sudjic.

Our Beatles’ birthplaces listing bid made it on to the evening news bulletin on the BBC’s 6 Music radio station as well as the Beeb’s website and the Liverpool Echo. The plight of Piercefield House in Wales was featured in the Daily Mail. And our work in Ayr and elsewhere continued to feature in local papers all over the country.
